Spring 2017 Actors
This is Courtney Calato‘s first tour with Hampstead! She graduated with her BFA in Performance from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2014. She was recently seen performing at the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire, as well as in their seasonal entertainment, Holidays at Mount Hope. She previously served on the education team Maples Repertory Theatre. This summer, Courtney will begin Instructor’s training with Dueling Arts International before returning to PRF.
Zachary Parkhurst is an actor, producer, and writer. Recent credits: Aladdin, Wizard of Oz (Hampstead Stage Company), Rowing (Then They Fight), The Winter’s Tale, A Midsommer Nightmare (Leroy Street Theatre), The Merry Wives of Windsor (Shakespeare BASH’d), Six Characters in Search of an Author (Ryerson Theatre School). For screen: “Older Brother”, Koodo Wireless; The End of the Tour (A24 Films). Zach is thrilled and grateful to be back for his second season with Hampstead!
This is Kristina Walter‘s first tour with Hampstead. She has previously been seen in Macbeth and Tecumseh! at Tecumseh! Outdoor Drama; Metamorphoses, All My Sons, The Three Musketeers, Cyrano de Bergerac, Dead Man’s Cell phone, etc. at the University of South Alabama. Kristina is an Advanced Actor Combatant with the Society of American Fight Directors and wishes to become a Certified Teacher. Kristina received her BFA in Acting from the University of South Alabama.
This is Steve Torres‘ first tour with Hampstead. He has previously been seen in Macbeth and Tecumseh! at Tecumseh Outdoor Drama; Oedipus El Rey, King Lear, and A Christmas Carol with the Dallas Theater Center; The Mousetrap, Passion Play, and Avenue Q with Summer Repertory Theatre in Santa Rosa. He received his MFA in Acting from Southern Methodist University and BA in Theatre Arts from Fresno State.
Ross Carmichael received a BA in Theatre from York College of Pennsylvania. His most recent credits include, Ferdinand, The Tempest; Antipholus of Syracuse, The Comedy of Errors (Camden Shakespeare); Antonio, Twelfth Night; Diomedes, Troilus and Cressida (Gamut Theatre Group). This spring he went on tour with FoodPlay Productions. In 2015, Ross helped Gamut Theatre Group demo and renovate a brand new theatrical center in Harrisburg, PA. Ross is based in Lancaster, PA with his girlfriend Kimberly.

Chrissy Johnson is thrilled to be returning to Hampstead Stage Company! She is originally from Fredericksburg, Virginia. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from James Madison University, and also studied at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting in NYC. She recently starred as Jen in The Empty Chair, a new play presented as part of New York City’s Thespis Theatre Festival. Some of her favorite roles include Steph (Reasons to be Pretty), Joy (The Yellow Boat), and Lisabette (Anton in Show Business). In addition to her acting work, Chrissy is also the co-founder and Education Director for Recess Theatre in Robbinsville, NJ.
