Hampstead Stage hires professional actors who truly believe in the work we do. All of our actors have a college degree, and are hired from professional acting conferences. SUMMER 2018 ACTORS
Andra Beatty is thrilled to join Hampstead Stage Company for her first summer! She is an Ohio native and Chicago local, where she graduated from The Theatre School at DePaul University with a BFA in Acting. While in school, Andra performed in numerous shows including Peter Pan and Wendy (Mrs. Darling), The Kid Who Ran for President (Miss Rita Honeywell), and How I Learned to Drive (Lil Bit). Andra is also a proud alum of Interlochen Arts Academy High School where she graduated with a certificate in Theatre Arts. Most recently she has been seen on stage at The Second City where she completed training in improv, as well as reading for Arc Theatre's NEW Series. www.andra-beatty.com!
Andres Roa was born in Bogota, Colombia. He moved to the US with his family at the age of 7, and discovered theatre in his Freshman year of college. He is currently an MFA candidate at the University of Houston’s PATP, and hopes to move back to DC after graduation. In his free time, he likes reading, FaceTiming his family (and his dog, Casper), and making some sort of art.
JaneMarie Erickson is delighted to join her first tour with Hampstead Stage Company! Originally from Wisconsin, she received a BA in both music and theatre from Ripon College. Most recently, she performed as Katrina in the Lexington Children’s Theatre’s tour of Sleepy Hollow. Having worked as both an actor and teaching artist, she has repeatedly been amazed by the effects theatre has on young people. She can’t wait to explore with you this summer!
Brock Birkner is absolutely on fire about touring with Hampstead Stage Company! Brock is originally from St. Louis, Missouri and is a recent graduate from Missouri State University with a BFA in Musical Theatre. Brock enjoys listening to and talking about podcasts, hiking, and reading books with scary monsters in them. Some of his more recent credits include Malvolio in Twelfth Night, Peter Pan in Peter/Wendy, and JD in Heathers.
Caroline Clay is a graduate of Morehead State University where she earned a degree in Theatre and Communications. She has previously performed with Florida Repertory Theatre, Stage Right Theatre Company and the National Theatre for Children, among others. She is thrilled to be performing with Hampstead Stage, and would like to thank her family for all their support.
Catherine Patton is thrilled to join Hampstead Stage Company for the first time. She recently graduated from Samford University in Birmingham, AL with a BFA in Musical Theatre. Favorite credits include Yonah in Children of Eden, Matt Damon in Matt and Ben, and Imogene Coca in Pretty Funny: The Musical (workshop). She would like to send love to her family and thank the Hampstead team for giving her the opportunity to “seek adventure” this summer.
Jennifer Allman is honored to be on her first Hampstead tour. She has toured previously with The National Theatre for Children and Prairie Fire. When Jennifer's not on the road she's performing, writing, and directing in Chicago, IL. She is a graduate of the i.O. Theatre and has also studied and performed at The Annoyance Theatre and Second City. Jennifer holds a BA in Theatre and Spanish from Berry College.
Kali McMillian is a fun-loving gal from the heart of the peach state, Atlanta, GA! She is overjoyed to be working again for Hampstead Stage up in beautiful Center Barnstead! Kali began acting at an early age in community theatre and continued her theatre education at Berry College where she was privileged to play such roles as Helena in A Midsummer Night's Dream and Grace in the The Faith Healer. Since graduating, Kali has continued to follow her passions working for the Scioto Society in their production of Tecumseh for two summers, for the National Theatre for Children as a touring actor and assorted and sundry film projects. Kali has had the privilege of seeing so much of this beautiful country, and she looks forward to the big sky that awaits her on this westward tour! She would like to thank her family, who have always supported her love of theatre and held her close even when she’s many, many miles away.
Sam Anderson is absolutely excited to embark on her first tour with Hampstead Stage Company! She holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from Western Illinois University, and has also worked with Minot State University Summer Theatre. Some of her favorite credits include A Doll House(Nora), Mother Courage and Her Children(Kattrin), and A Midsummer Night’s Dream(Hermia). When not performing onstage, Sam also enjoys lighting design. Her most recent design was WIU’s production of Avenue Q.
Jake Stibbe is thrilled to be spending his summer with Hampstead Stage Company! Professional Credits include: Here and There (Uncle, James, Fredriech), with Central Square Theater/Underground Railway Theater, The Buddy Holly Story (Norm Petty) at Hackmatack Playhouse, The Night the Music Died (The Big Bopper), Hello Dolly! (Stanley/Ensemble), American Pride! (Featured Soloist) with Texas Family Musicals Inc, The Altos (Chris) with Fargo Entertainment Co, and Bare: A Pop Opera (Alan) at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
Claire Malkie is a Chicago based actor and theatre artist. She graduated from Hofstra University with a BFA in Acting in Spring of 2017. Since moving to Chicago, Claire has interned with Remy Bumppo Theatre Company and performed with her improv group Winter Retrograde at The Second City. Kaleigh Jackson is a graduate of Mars Hill University with a BFA in Musical Theatre. She is 22 years old and the youngest of three. She is from Asheboro, North Carolina. Kaleigh loves doing anything that keeps her moving and active, especially running. She absolutely loves elephants and is addicted to coffee and hot sauce (separately, not mixed together). She has a huge passion for music and performing. Both have been a big part of her life ever since she was “knee high to a grasshopper” and hopes it will stay a part of her life until her dying day. Kaleigh is thrilled to be working with Hampstead Stage for the first time this summer.
